I got to see the David today!! :D One of my roommates has a friend visiting from Rome (she is also a study abroad student there) and those two, me, and another one of our roommates went to the Galleria Dell'Accademia which is where the statue is. There was a lot of pre-Renissance art work there which was all so beautiful. And then, there was Michelangelo's David!!! It was so incredible amazing! (Can't wait to show you mom when you get here!) It is so huge when you see it in person! I wasn't able to take any pictures because cameras aren't allowed. The flash will cause damage to the paintings around it and I think to the statue too, also due to the size it is hard for people to get pictures of it properly, and they want you to buy their pictures of it. I did get a magnet that has the picture of the David on it and the name of the museum. After we went there, we went up to the Piazzale Michelangelo again for my roommates friend and watched the sunset again. Was a great day!
Also had my first test in my Italian class on Thursday, and I actually think it went ok :D
