Carnavale

Just realized I forgot to write about this. Last weekend was Florence's Carnavale. Me and two of my roommates went to go watch the parade in town. It was awesome!! In the beginning there was a bunch of people dressed up in Renissance clothing. Then there were floats from all the different cultures that are here in Florence. There was a float for Mexico, Peru, Honduras, Japan, Sri Lanka, everywhere! There were two different times where we weren't sure if the parade was over or not. We left at one point thinking it was and all of a sudden we looked down the street we had just been on and there was more coming! hahahaha. Carnavale is kind of like their Halloween, there was a bunch of kids dressed up and it was a big party!
