Viareggio

Last Saturday, some of my roommates and I decided to go hop a train and head out to Viareggio for the day. It's a town on the coast of Italy about an dhour and 40ish minute train right away. we laid on the beach all day in the sun! Could have been a bit warmer because of the breeze that was a bit cool but the sun was warm! And the water was freezing! We took our suits with us just in case we got to go swimming, but unfortunetly it wasn't warm enough for that. We spent most of the day relaxing and then one of my roommates comes running back with these sticks she found on the beach, we were calling them bamboo sticks but they looked like corn stalks to me, and she said "we are gonna have a javelin throwing contest!" So there we were, 4 Americans probably looking like fools because we were throwing sticks across teh beach at this log that was standing up. But it was fun! :D I got one point because I got closest during one round, after three rounds, it was tied up 3 people with one point each and one person with no points, though we never actually finished so no one ever won. It was a blast though!
